I think John Cage was a genius. He was a composer who created music that was not meant to be listened to, but rather experienced. His work was always about creating a space where the listener could experience sound in their own way. Ithink John Cage's work is interesting because it
forces us to question our perceptions of reality. We often take things at face value without thinking about them deeply enough.. He encourages us to question everything we know and to try to understand the world in a different way. I think John Cage should be considered a modern day philosopher because he questions the nature of reality and asks us to reevaluate our beliefs.
